1. Introduction

Welcome to Soundyard! These Terms of Service ("Terms") describe the rules for using Soundyard.eu, including Feed, Library, Spotlight, subscriptions, downloads and the rights and obligations of users and uploaders.

By using Soundyard.eu you agree to these Terms.

2. Definitions

Soundyard: The Soundyard.eu platform, operated by Soundyard B.V.
Any visitor or registered user of the platform: Any visitor or registered user of the platform
Uploader/Creator/Artists: User who uploads content (tracks, samples, etc.)
Abonnee: User with a paid subscription
Feed: Public stream with uploads, streaming only
Library: Downloadable content for subscribers
Spotlight: Trending page with a mix of Feed & Library tracks for extra visibility

3. Platform Overview

Soundyard is a music platform for DJs, producers and artists offering: Feed (streaming of new uploads, free access), Library (downloadable tracks/DJ tools for subscribers), Spotlight (trending system for visibility), Artist Profiles (direct sales via profile page), and Revenue Sharing (artists earn from downloads and sales).

4. User Rights and Obligations

4.1 Creating an Account

Requirements: minimum age 16, correct email address and account details, one account per person, no false identities or impersonation.

4.2 Feed Usage (Free Users)

Allowed: streaming tracks, likes, reposts, playlist adds, comments, following artists, sharing via external links. Not allowed: downloads (unless subscriber), ripping/extracting audio from streams, commercial use without permission.

4.3 Library Usage (Subscribers)

Allowed: downloading tracks for DJ sets, use in mixes (online/offline), podcasts, radio shows, club/festival performances. Not allowed: reselling downloaded tracks, uploading to Spotify/Apple Music without rights, claiming as own work, redistributing to non-subscribers.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Payment methods: iDEAL (Netherlands), credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, SEPA bank transfer. Subscriptions renew automatically with 7 days prior email reminder. Cancellation possible until 24h before renewal via account settings or email to info@soundyard.eu.

6. Right of Withdrawal

Under Dutch and EU consumer law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, this right expires immediately when: you download digital content (tracks, samples, loops, stems), you explicitly consent to immediate delivery, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal upon download.

By clicking "Download" or "Purchase", you: request immediate access to the digital content, acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the download starts, and confirm you understand this is a final sale for digital goods.

7. Extra Content Purchases (Samples, Loops, Stems)

All Extra Content is sold with one of the following licenses, as specified by the seller: Basic License (default), Premium License, or Exclusive License. See the Sample License Terms for full details.

8. Revenue Sharing

8.1 Subscription Downloads

Artists who join before November 29, 2026 receive 85% of download revenue, for life. Artists who join on or after November 29, 2026 receive 70%. The remainder goes to the platform for hosting/infrastructure and growth.

8.2 Extra Content Sales (88/12)

88% to artist, 12% platform fee. Applicable to sample packs, loops, stems, exclusive tracks, acapellas etc.

9. Liability

Soundyard is not liable for: illegal or harmful content posted by users, copyright infringement by uploaders, damage from downtime or technical issues, data loss, disputes between buyers and sellers of Extra Content. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the claim. Privacy Policy

See Privacy Policy for detailed information. We process personal data GDPR-compliant and only share data with payment providers and cloud hosts.

11. Dispute Resolution

For disputes: first contact info@soundyard.eu. We aim to resolve within 14 business days. ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/odr. Applicable law: Dutch law. Competent court: Rotterdam Court.
